How to make BO3 Zombies interactive on TikTok LIVE
To make BO3 Zombies interactive, you map TikTok gifts to in-game effects so viewers can drop a Nuke, spawn a boss or strip your perks in real time. It works on the plain Steam version of Black Ops III, and setup takes about ten minutes.
What interactive BO3 Zombies actually means
Interactive means your viewers stop watching and start playing against you. A rose might give you a Max Ammo. A bigger gift might send four hellhounds at you while you are on round 20.
Every effect is triggered by something happening in your LIVE: a gift, and in many games a follow, like, share or chat message as well. The game reacts in real time, so viewers see the result of their gift within moments, on your screen and theirs.
That loop is why it works. People gift when they see an immediate, funny consequence.
What you need before you start
Keep the list short. You do not need mods in your game folder or a custom map.
- Black Ops III on Steam, unmodified. No BOIII client and no Mod Tools map is required.
- A PC that can run the game and your stream at the same time.
- TikTok LIVE access on your account. Requirements such as follower minimums vary by region and account, so check TikTok's own LIVE settings.
- TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS to broadcast.
- A TikPlays account with the BO3 Zombies interactive, which is one of 32 in a single subscription.
Step-by-step: connect BO3 Zombies to your LIVE
The BO3 interactive uses a small bridge program that loads its script into the game by itself. There is nothing to copy into the game folder, and no port forwarding is needed.
- Open the TikPlays desktop app and install the BO3 bridge from the Game mods screen.
- Start Black Ops III and wait until you reach the main menu. Do not launch a match yet.
- Click Run bridge in the desktop app and leave it open for the whole stream.
- On the TikPlays dashboard, connect your TikTok account and open the BO3 Zombies page.
- Map your gifts to effects (see the next section for suggestions).
- Start a Zombies match, go LIVE, and test it with a friend's gift or a test trigger before you announce it.
If nothing fires, check the order first. The most common mistake is running the bridge before the game has reached the main menu.

Which gifts should trigger which effects
The interactive ships with 42 actions, split between effects that help you and effects that hurt. The best setups use both, because viewers want to feel they can save you as well as sabotage you.
A simple rule works well: cheap gifts get small, fun effects, and expensive gifts get the dramatic ones. Here is a starting layout you can adapt.
- Small gifts: Max Ammo, Double Points, +5000 Points, Speed Boost, Hide HUD.
- Mid gifts: Random Perk, Pack-a-Punch, Zombie Horde, Blackout, Drunk Mode, Crazy Zombies.
- Big gifts: Nuke, Wonder Weapon, Spawn Boss, Hellhounds, Take All Perks, Steal Points.
- Your top gift: Spin the Wheel, which lands on any of the forty effects and makes the outcome a gamble.
Do not stack all the punishing effects on the cheapest gifts. If a viewer can freeze you or drop you to one HP for almost nothing, your run ends in five minutes and the fun goes with it.
The full list of actions viewers can trigger
These are the effects you can map. Each one has its own strength setting, so you decide how hard it hits.
Balancing it so the game stays watchable
Give viewers help as well as harm. Effects like Godmode, Revive and Heal, Kill Aura and Infinite Ammo let a viewer play hero. Those moments often get more chat reaction than the punishments do.
Watch the pacing. Some effects last 5 seconds (Blackout, Freeze) and others 30 (Crazy Zombies, Tanky Zombies). If several long effects overlap on a high round, you will be dead before chat can enjoy it.
Also decide in advance what you will do about the round-skipping effects. Skip Rounds and End the Round are useful for keeping a long run moving, but they change your score, so tell viewers what they do if you care about the round count.
Keep viewers engaged around the gameplay
Effects are only half of a good LIVE. Show a gift menu on screen so viewers know what each gift does. Goal bars, a top-gifter board and a chat overlay all run as links you paste into OBS or LIVE Studio as a browser source.
A gift-to-effect list on screen matters more than anything else you can add. New viewers do not know the rules, and they will not gift if they cannot see what they get.
The same subscription includes goal bars, top-gifter and chat overlays, Spotify song requests and a giveaway wheel, if you want to build a fuller show.

Plan your gift prices and stream schedule
Before mapping, look at what your gifts are worth to you. The free gift and earnings calculator shows how many of a given gift a viewer would need to send for a goal you set.
Then pick a regular time to go LIVE. Interactive streams grow when viewers know when the next one is, so a fixed schedule helps more than an occasional long session.
