The TikPlays desktop app runs on your streaming PC. It reads gifts and chat out loud, keeps talking for you while you step away, plays sound alerts through your speakers and lets viewers' gifts trigger things on your computer. You control all of it from the dashboard.

Text-to-speech with real filtering

Gift TTS gets viewers to gift, but only if it doesn't read out spam or slurs on your stream. So most of the TTS settings are about deciding what gets read.

Choose who can speak

Pick how chat gets its messages read aloud:

  • Gift-unlocked: sending a gift you pick unlocks TTS for that viewer
  • Followers-only: people who follow you get read for free
  • Free-for-all: every message is read
  • Burst mode: short free windows on a timer

A filter that's hard to dodge

Before anything is read, the text is cleaned up. People trying to sneak words past a basic keyword list don't get through.

  • Catches lookalike letters, l33t-speak and spaced-out spellings
  • Strips emoji, invisible characters and unreadable names
  • Blocks the message rather than reading half of it

An AI co-host for when you step away

Stepping away usually means a quiet stream and viewers leaving. The co-host keeps talking while you're gone. It thanks gifters by name, welcomes new followers and keeps chat going, in a voice that runs entirely on your own PC.

The voice model downloads once the first time you turn the co-host on. After that it works offline.

Alerts for every event

Give follows, likes, shares, joins and specific gifts their own sound. Each clip has its own volume, and you choose which speakers the app plays through.

A soundboard you map once

Build pads from your sound library and fire them whenever you want. Changes you make in the dashboard reach the app in about 12 seconds.

Your sound library

A shared, searchable clip library you can preview in the browser before mapping. If there's a sound you want that isn't there, ask and we'll add it. A local mute in the app silences everything instantly.

Gifts that do things on your PC

Map a gift to an action on your computer: open an app, turn the volume up, take a screenshot, flip your screen upside down. Every action is off until you turn it on, and cooldowns stop one viewer from spamming it.

Actions in red are power actions. The app won't run them unless you separately allow power actions, and shutdowns can be cancelled.

Anti-AFK, so the game doesn't kick you

Many games disconnect you after a few idle minutes, which ends your stream while the co-host is still talking. The anti-AFK tapper sends small, real key presses to the game window so it stays active. It works with Roblox, and has built-in targets for BO2 and BO1 (Plutonium), Rust and Terraria. You can also point it at any other process.

Set it up in four steps

  1. Subscribe and open the dashboardThe desktop app is included in every plan.
  2. Download the appIt's on the TTS & mods tab. It's a single Windows .exe, and you don't need to install Python or anything else.
  3. Paste your API keyDashboard → Account → Create new API key. The app remembers it.
  4. Turn on what you wantTTS, co-host, alerts, PC actions and anti-AFK each have their own switch. Anything you change on the dashboard reaches the app live.

Questions

Does it work on Mac?
Not currently. The app is Windows-only because PC actions and anti-AFK use Windows APIs. The browser overlays, games and Spotify requests work on any OS.
Will it slow my game down?
The app itself is light. The AI co-host voice runs on your CPU and only works while it's generating a line. Gift TTS uses a cloud voice, so it barely touches your PC.
Is it safe to let viewers control my PC?
Viewers can only trigger actions you've turned on for a specific gift. Power actions (shutdown, sleep, lock) need a second switch, and every action has a cooldown. The app also only accepts commands from your own account.
Can my moderators use it?
Yes. Add moderators on the dashboard and they can control TTS with chat commands while you're live.
