Five Nights at Freddy's 3 on TikTok LIVE: gift ideas and what viewers can trigger
Map cheap gifts to small, funny nudges like stepping Springtrap one camera closer, and save big gifts for night-changing moments like a full reboot or Phantom Mangle. Twenty actions are available, ten that help you and ten that hurt, so you can balance them any way you like.
Why FNAF 3 works so well with live gifts
FNAF 3 is a one-enemy game. Springtrap is the only real threat, and every viewer can see exactly where he is on the camera map. That makes gifts easy to understand: a gift lands, and he moves, or a system dies, or a phantom shows up.
It also means you are already playing a game of tension. You flip cameras, watch the clock, and keep three systems alive. Viewer gifts slot into that loop instead of replacing it, so you still feel like you are playing the night.
What viewers can actually trigger
Every action works on the running game's own state: the maintenance panel's three systems, Springtrap's position and AI level, the clock, and the phantom triggers the game already has. Nothing is installed into the game, so what chat does looks like the game doing it.
There are ten helping actions and ten trolling actions. The list below shows all twenty, so here is how to think about them instead of repeating it.
Follows, likes, shares and viewers joining the live can be mapped to actions too, not just gifts. That matters for the cheap end of your setup, covered next.
Pacing cheap gifts versus big gifts
Start from what you want chat to feel. A cheap gift should be a small, instant reaction that costs a viewer almost nothing and happens often. A big gift should change the next two minutes of the night.
If every gift is a disaster, viewers stop caring because nothing stands out. If every gift is a rescue, the night is dull. Aim for a steady drip of small effects with the occasional big swing.
- Cheap tier: Springtrap steps closer, Break the audio, Skip an hour, Calm Springtrap, Wake up. They are quick, readable and easy to recover from.
- Mid tier: Break the cameras, Break the ventilation, Turn the clock back, Freeze Springtrap, Phantom shield, Send Springtrap back to CAM 10.
- Big tier: Enrage Springtrap, Phantom Mangle, Phantom Puppet, Systems lock, Reboot all systems, Guardian.
- Free triggers: map follows, likes or joins to the gentlest actions, such as Calm Springtrap or Wake up, so everyone gets a way to take part.
Check which gifts are actually cheap or expensive in your region before you assign tiers. The free gift and earnings calculator is a quick way to see how your gift choices stack up.

Balancing helpful and harmful effects
The best chats fight each other. One viewer sends Phantom Foxy, another saves you with Phantom shield, and a third sends Springtrap one camera closer just to watch you panic. That tug of war is the show.
A good starting point is to make helping gifts slightly more expensive than trolling ones of the same impact. Trolls are the more tempting impulse buy, so you want rescues to feel like a choice that matters, not a free undo button.
Keep at least two rescue options on cheap gifts, though. If you are one camera from losing and no one can afford to help, the night ends in silence instead of drama.
Combos viewers will figure out on their own
Once a few people watch the pattern, they start stacking gifts on purpose. Here are combos worth planning for when you set your prices.
- Blind and push: Break the cameras, then Springtrap steps closer. You cannot see where he is, and he is nearer than you think.
- Slow suffocation: Break the ventilation, then Turn the clock back. You are fighting hallucinations and a longer night at once.
- Phantom pile-up: Phantom Puppet, then Phantom Mangle. Hard to survive without a shield.
- The comeback: Reboot all systems, Send Springtrap back to CAM 10, then Freeze Springtrap. Three rescues in a row make a great payoff clip.
- Safe room: Systems lock, Phantom shield and Calm Springtrap together turn a rough night into a breather, and chat will get a laugh out of how suspicious that is.
Setting up the mapping on TikPlays
TikPlays turns your TikTok LIVE into a game your viewers play. Each gift you map on the dashboard triggers an action in real time. FNAF 3 is one of 38 interactives in the same subscription, and there is no port forwarding. The setup is a small bridge plus your dashboard.
It works alongside TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS, and the mapping is just choosing a gift and picking an action from the list.
- Run the TikPlays FNAF 3 bridge and paste in your dashboard API key.
- Start Five Nights at Freddy's 3 and play a night. The bridge finds the game by itself.
- Map gifts (and joins) to actions, then pick FNAF 3 when you Connect on the dashboard.
Do a test night with a friend sending a couple of gifts before you go live, so you know what each effect looks like on screen.
Running the stream around it
Viewers need to know what each gift does. Put a short list on screen or in your title, and read out a new gift effect when it happens so latecomers catch on. A pinned comment with the three most popular gifts helps too.
TikPlays also includes overlays you paste in as browser sources, such as goal bars and top-gifter boards, plus gift TTS and sound alerts through the desktop app. They help your chat feel seen when they send something.
TikTok LIVE access requirements vary by region and account, so check TikTok's own LIVE settings to see what you qualify for.

A starter mapping to copy
If you want something to copy, start small and adjust after one or two streams. Watch which gifts chat actually sends, then move the effects around to match.
- Smallest gift: Springtrap steps closer.
- Next up: Break the audio or Skip an hour.
- Mid gift: Break the cameras, Freeze Springtrap.
- Larger gift: Phantom Foxy or Phantom BB, Phantom shield.
- Biggest gifts: Enrage Springtrap, Phantom Mangle, Reboot all systems, Systems lock.
- Follows and joins: Calm Springtrap or Wake up.
After a stream, note which effects ended the night early and which ones nobody ever bought. Swap them. Your mapping should keep changing as your chat gets to know the game.
