About Yume Nikki

A small TikPlays bridge connects Yume Nikki (Steam) to your TikTok Live and plays whatever your viewers have just bought. The game has no mod loader, so the bridge hands every action to the running game as one of its own events: yen arrives with the vending machine jingle, a new effect is handed over the way the game does it, and every warp goes through the game's own doors and fades. Nothing is installed into the game.

Ten gifts help her: lucky yen, an effect she doesn't have yet, a warp to the Nexus, a door into a random world, a bicycle-speed boost, walking through walls, protection from the chasers, the lights back on, every curse lifted at once, and a happy little dance.

Ten make the dream worse: a pinch on the cheek that wakes her up, heavy legs, lights out, an earthquake, a pickpocket, the effect she's wearing snatched away, a turn as a slow severed head, a dizzy spell, a door that loses her deep in the dream, and a nightmare jolt.

Gifts that arrive while a door or cutscene is playing wait their turn. Follows, likes, shares and viewers joining the live can be mapped to any action too.
