About How to Fish

A MelonLoader mod connects your How to Fish run to your TikTok Live and polls for whatever your viewers have just bought. How to Fish is a Unity co-op game on the Mono backend, so every action calls the game's own code — nothing is hooked at the OS level and no memory is poked.

Ten gifts help: a full heal with your hunger topped up, cash straight into your wallet, hunger fully restored, a life raft of invincibility, dead-calm seas with the screen shake killed, a tow back to the starting jetty, a wider field of view, a second wind that resurrects you (or heals you if you're still up), clear skies with the fog lifted, and a tail wind that shoves you forward across the water.

Ten make it worse: a gut punch of direct damage, a launch clean off the deck, a yank up into the air, tunnel vision down to a keyhole, poison in the water, the game's own fire, a blackout with every light out and fog rolling in, a whirlpool that spins your view, butterfingers that drops whatever you're holding, and the taxman emptying your wallet.

How to Fish is co-op, and the heal / cash / poison / fire / resurrect effects are server-authoritative — they bite for the player HOSTING the lobby (playing solo counts). The mod says so in its own log when you're a guest; the camera, shove, weather and screen effects work for anyone.
