To make Palworld interactive on TikTok LIVE, run a small bridge next to your dedicated server that turns viewer gifts into server commands, then map each gift to an action like a care package or a boss ambush. Nothing gets installed into the game, and your players never see a mod.
What interactive Palworld actually means
Interactive means viewers do things to your game with gifts instead of only watching. A small gift drops a supply crate on your position. A bigger one drops an alpha boss on your head while you are carrying half a base worth of ore.
Palworld suits this well because the game already has chaos built in: wild Pals, predators, raid bosses, base workers, and a lot of inventory to lose. Viewers get to decide whether your next five minutes are lucky or miserable, which is what keeps them sending gifts.
What you need before you start
The setup runs on your own dedicated server, not on a normal co-op session. That is the one real requirement, and it is also why nothing has to be modded into the game client.
- A Palworld dedicated server you control, on Windows or Linux.
- Access to PalWorldSettings.ini so you can turn on RCON or the REST API.
- A TikPlays account and your dashboard API key.
- TikTok LIVE access on your account. Requirements such as follower minimums vary by region and account, so check TikTok's own LIVE settings.
- Optionally, a server admin plugin such as PalDefender or PalGuard. More on why below.
Step-by-step setup
The whole thing takes three moves. Most of the time goes into deciding which gifts do what, not into the technical part.
- Put the TikPlays bridge on the machine running your Palworld server. On Windows that is a single .exe with nothing to install. On Linux it is the scripts bundle, a standard-library Python script. There is also a PowerShell version if you would rather read what you run.
- Enable RCON (or the REST API) in PalWorldSettings.ini, restart the server, and paste your dashboard API key into the script config.
- Open the TikPlays dashboard, map gifts to actions, run the script, and go live on TikTok LIVE.
There is no port forwarding involved, because the bridge talks out to TikPlays rather than waiting for inbound connections. Start the bridge before you start streaming so you can confirm it connects.
Why the admin plugin matters
Most of the 28 gift actions rely on server commands that do not exist on a stock Palworld server. PalDefender or PalGuard adds them. Without one, the script still runs and announces in game what chat tried to do, but the item or effect never lands.
Your TikPlays dashboard tells you which mapped gifts are in that state before you go live. Check that screen every time you change your setup, because it is much better to find a dead gift in a test than on stream when someone spends coins on it.
What viewers can trigger
There are 30 actions in total: 14 that help, 14 that hurt, and two extras. Here is the shape of each group.
- Help: Care package, Medical supplies, Legendary Pal, Mystery egg, XP surge, Ammo crate, Gold rush, Guardian shield, Tech and stat points, Legendary Spheres, Full restore, Catcher's kit, Supply drop and Cake delivery.
- Harm: Boss ambush, Pal swarm, Predator drop, Ammo confiscated, The taxman, Gear stripped, Pal released, Banished, Renamed by chat, Shield dropped, Lava pit, Raid tower drop, Inventory dumped and Base workers culled.
- Extras: Spin the wheel and Shout-out.
Boss ambush drops an alpha boss on your coordinates. Banished is a one-way trip across the map. Renamed by chat lets a viewer choose a name. These are the ones people clip.
How to map gifts so it stays fun
Give the cheap gifts to the helpful actions and save the painful ones for the expensive gifts. If a one-coin rose can empty your inventory, viewers will spam it and the stream turns into a punishment loop. Keep the worst outcomes behind gifts that take real effort.
Mix the two sides. A stream that only helps is boring, and one that only hurts drives people out. A roughly even split lets viewers cancel each other out: one person sends a Guardian shield, another cuts it short with Shield dropped.
Keep a few gifts for reversible harm, such as Ammo confiscated or The taxman, and keep permanent losses like Pal released or Inventory dumped for the big spenders. Nobody wants to lose a Pal they spent an hour breeding to a mid-tier gift.

Test before you go live
Run a private test with the bridge connected and trigger a few actions yourself. Check one help action, one harm action and one that needs the admin plugin. That covers most of what can go wrong.
Then do a dry run of the mapping: read through every gift and ask whether you would be fine with it happening at the worst moment, like mid-fight or right after a long build. If not, move it to a pricier gift or drop it.
Watch the server console during your first real stream. If a command fails, you will see it there, and you can tell chat what happened instead of leaving them guessing.
Running the stream around it
Tell viewers what each gift does. A pinned title or a short on-screen list helps, and gift names alone do not explain what happens. People send more when they know the result.
