How to Make Indigo Park: Chapter 1 Interactive on TikTok LIVE

To make Indigo Park: Chapter 1 interactive, you need a mod that listens to your TikTok LIVE and changes the game when viewers send gifts. This guide covers the full setup, which gifts to map to which actions, and how to pace a horror stream so chat stays hooked.

What interactive Indigo Park actually looks like

Indigo Park: Chapter 1 is a first-person horror game set in an abandoned theme park. You spend most of it walking, hiding and relying on your flashlight. That makes it a good fit for chat control, because the things viewers can mess with are the things that already create tension: light, movement and the camera.

In an interactive stream, a viewer sends a gift and something happens to you on screen within moments. Your flashlight dies, your controls reverse, the screen goes black, or you suddenly dash forward. Other gifts help you instead: moon gravity, night vision that lights up the whole park, a speed boost. Viewers choose whether to be your allies or your problem.

What you need before you start

You need a PC that already runs Indigo Park: Chapter 1, a TikTok account that can go LIVE, and a TikPlays account. LIVE access depends on your region and account, so check TikTok's own LIVE settings if the option is missing for you.

The mod works through the game's own character, camera and flashlight. It is built for Indigo Park: Chapter 1, which runs on Unreal Engine 5.2. You do not need to forward any ports. You also do not need to be a developer, because the installer does the file work.

Step-by-step setup

The whole setup is three moves: install the bridge, start the game, and connect from the dashboard. Do it once before you go live, then test it with a friend or a second account sending a gift.

  1. Run the TikPlays Indigo Park bridge and paste in your dashboard API key. It installs UE4SS and the mod into the game itself, so you do not have to copy files around by hand.
  2. Start Indigo Park: Chapter 1 and continue or start a game. Get into the park with control of your character before you connect.
  3. On the TikPlays dashboard, map gifts, follows, shares, likes and joins to actions.
  4. Pick Indigo Park: Chapter 1 when you press Connect on the dashboard, then go LIVE in TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS.
  5. Trigger a few actions yourself from the dashboard or with a test gift, and confirm the flashlight, speed and camera all respond.

If nothing happens, the usual cause is that the game was not loaded into the park yet, or the API key was pasted with a stray space. Fix those two things first.

The 20 actions viewers can trigger

There are ten helpful actions and ten trolls. Every one works through the game's own character, camera or flashlight, so effects feel native rather than bolted on. Here is the full list.

The help side includes a speed boost, super jumps, moon gravity, a wide field of view, night vision, a super flashlight, slow motion and a dash forward. Two special gifts sit in this group: one clears every active troll, and one cancels a reset countdown.

How to map gifts so chat has a reason to spend

The most common mistake is putting every action on the same kind of gift. If a cheap gift can blackout the park and a cheap gift can also fix it, nothing feels earned. Spread the actions across your gift list so there is something for small gifts and something for big ones.

A simple pattern that works: put the mild annoyances on small, frequent gifts. Slow walk, drunk and tunnel vision are funny but survivable, and they let new viewers join in with a Rose-level gift. Put the nasty ones, like blackout, flashlight dies and yeet, on mid-range gifts. Save the clear-all-trolls gift and the save-from-reset gift for something bigger, because those are the moments where a viewer rescues you.

Check your gift list on the dashboard before you go live, since the gifts you can map depend on what TikTok offers in your region. Follows, shares, likes and joins can trigger actions too, so give a free action to each. A follow that triggers a small help effect is a good way to turn watchers into followers.

The reset countdown is your best feature

The reset countdown is the most dramatic action in the set. When a viewer triggers it, a sixty-second timer starts. If it runs out, you are sent back two minutes. That is long enough to hurt and short enough that you will not quit the stream over it.

The twist is the save gift. Another viewer can pay to cancel the countdown, so chat ends up in a tug of war: one person starts the clock, others scramble to stop it. Say out loud what is happening when the timer starts, because the commentary is half the fun. A line like 'someone just started a reset, I need a save in the next minute' will pull in gifts you would not otherwise get.

Pacing a horror stream with chat in control

Horror games rely on silence and surprise, and chat can wreck both if the trolls stack up. If five trolls hit at once, the game stops being scary and turns into chaos. Chaos is fun, but it burns out fast. Use the clear-the-trolls gift as a pressure valve so a stack can be wiped when it gets out of hand.

Tell new viewers what the gifts do near the top of the stream, and keep a short list on screen. People are much more likely to send a gift if they know the exact result. Keep your title honest too, something like 'Chat controls the flashlight in Indigo Park', because a clear promise brings in the right viewers.

Do not play it too safe either. The best clips come from you reacting in real time: the lights go out right as you turn a corner, or you get yeeted just as you thought you were safe. React loudly and let the moment breathe before you recover.

Add overlays and tools around the game

The game is only part of a good interactive stream. TikPlays works alongside TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS, and overlays are links you paste in as a browser source. Goal bars, a top-gifter board and a chat overlay help viewers see that their gifts matter.

You can also use a Windows desktop app that reads gifts and chat aloud, an AI co-host and sound alerts. If you run Indigo Park in a series, a goal bar works well as a target such as 'hit it and chat gets a free blackout'. These are optional extras, so start with the game itself and add pieces once the basics feel smooth.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make Indigo Park: Chapter 1 interactive for free?
You can learn the whole workflow and plan your gift mapping without paying anything, and the free tools on the site need no account. The Indigo Park interactive itself runs through a TikPlays account. Check the site for current plan details.
Do I need to open ports or edit game files by hand?
No. Setup is a dashboard link plus the Indigo Park bridge, which installs UE4SS and the mod into the game for you. There is no port forwarding involved.
What happens if a viewer starts the reset countdown?
A sixty-second countdown begins. If it finishes, you are sent back two minutes in the game. Any viewer can send the save gift to cancel it, so the countdown becomes a mini event for chat.
Can follows, likes and shares trigger actions, or only gifts?
Gifts are the main trigger, but you can map follows, shares, likes and joins to actions as well. Giving every viewer a free way to affect the game keeps people engaged even if they are not gifting.
Will this work with TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS?
Yes. TikPlays works alongside either one. You stream the game as usual and paste any overlay links in as browser sources.
