What interactive TikCross actually means
TikCross is a free Roblox game in the crossy-road mould. You hop across lanes and try not to get flattened. On its own it is a solid solo game, but it is a better stream when your chat controls the traffic.
In the interactive version, viewers send gifts and each gift triggers something in your game in real time. A small gift might launch a single car at you. A big one might send a whole group at once, or hand you a powerup so you can survive the chaos.

Step-by-step: connect TikCross to your LIVE
The whole connection is a link code. There is no port forwarding and nothing to install for this one, because TikCross is a Roblox game you join rather than a PC mod.
- Open TikCross on Roblox and type /link in the in-game chat. The game gives you a code.
- Open your TikPlays dashboard and enter that code. This ties your Roblox account to your stream.
- Map your gifts to assets or powerups on the dashboard (the next section covers how to choose).
- Go live on TikTok and keep TikCross running. Gifts sent by viewers now trigger actions in your game.
Do a test before your real stream. Start a LIVE, or use the dashboard's test controls if you have them, and confirm that a mapped gift produces the effect you expect. Finding a wrong mapping in a private test is much better than finding it in front of a full room.
The four things a gift can do
Every gift you map is assigned one of four actions. Knowing them makes the mapping decisions much easier.
- Explosion: a cosmetic blast at the spawner. Good for a cheap gift that still gets a visible reaction.
- Give a powerup: applies one of the timed player powerups to you.
- Spawn an object: launches any Roblox asset you choose down the path.
- Spawn several: sends a whole group of them at once, which suits your bigger gifts.
Notice that two of these hurt you and one helps you. Keeping a mix of both in your setup gives viewers a reason to send gifts whether they want you to fail or to survive.
Powerups: the gifts that help you
TikCross has five timed player powerups. They are worth mapping on purpose, because they change how the stream feels and give viewers a way to be generous instead of destructive.
- Brick Wall: cars bounce off you instead of launching you
- Low Gravity: floaty moon-jump physics
- Magnet: pulls every launched vehicle toward you
- Super Jump: launch yourself sky-high for a few seconds
- Super Speed: sprint at warp speed
Magnet is a good example of a gift with a twist. It sounds helpful, but it pulls every launched vehicle toward you, so a viewer who sends it while chat is also sending traffic is doing you no favours. Viewers tend to enjoy that kind of ambiguity.
How to map gifts so the stream stays fun
Start with a small set. Five to eight mapped gifts is easier for viewers to remember than twenty, and you can always add more once you see what your chat responds to.
Match the size of the effect to the size of the gift. A single launched object suits a cheap gift. A group spawn or a powerup suits something bigger. If the cheapest gift does the same thing as the most expensive one, nobody has a reason to spend more.

Choosing what to launch: the open-ended part
This is where TikCross gets its personality. Because a gift can launch any Roblox asset you point it at, your theme is entirely your call. You could keep it to cars and trucks, or run a silly theme where the traffic is something completely unexpected.
A few ideas for building a running joke with your chat: give your top gift a signature object that only that gift launches, use one absurdly large asset as the rare big hit, or rotate the theme each week so regulars come back to see what is flying at you this time.
Test any asset before you map it. Some assets behave oddly when launched, and you want to know that before a viewer pays for it.
Running the stream: tips that help
