Resident Evil 3: Nemesis on TikTok LIVE: Gift Ideas and What Viewers Can Trigger
With TikPlays, viewers can heal Jill, hand her a rocket launcher, poison her or empty her gun, all from TikTok gifts. This guide covers which gifts to map to which actions, how to pace cheap and big gifts, and which combos make good moments.
What viewers can actually trigger
The Resident Evil 3: Nemesis setup has 20 actions, split evenly: ten that help Jill survive and ten that make her night worse. A small TikPlays bridge reads the running 1999 PC game and changes Jill's health, poison, bag, equipped gun and the enemies in her room. Nothing is installed into the game itself.
Below is the full live list. Read it once before you map anything, because the way these actions are grouped decides how you should price them.
The safety floor changes how you map
No gift can kill Jill outright. Her health never drops below 1, so even the nastiest troll leaves her something to survive with. That is the single most useful fact for mapping, because it means you can put mean effects on gifts without a single viewer ending your run.
Every troll becomes a small puzzle solved the game's own way: a herb, a spray, a reload, or running. Jill can still die in the normal way if the player makes mistakes, so the gifts shift the odds without deciding the outcome.
The practical rule: you can be more generous with harsh effects than you would be in a game where one gift ends the run. Save your worry for pacing, not for survival.
Pacing cheap gifts versus big gifts
Start with the idea that the cheapest gift on your screen should fire the most frequently and cost Jill the least. In a horror game, a stream of constant small pressure feels better than one big event every ten minutes. Cheap gifts should be things the player can answer in a few seconds.
Mid-priced gifts should change the next minute of play. Big gifts should change the whole room. Here is a split that works well.
Check the actual coin values of the gifts in your own region before you commit, since they can differ. The free gift and earnings calculator is a quick way to see what a stream's gifts add up to.
- Cheapest tier: Hurt her, Handgun bullets, Reload the gun in hand, Heal. Small, instant, and easy to answer.
- Middle tier: First Aid Spray, Poison, Bleeding, Steal ammo, Steal a heal, Gun jams. These ask the player to react or spend a resource.
- Top tier: Full heal, Invincible, Infinite ammo, One-hit enemies, Shotgun, Rocket launcher, Drop to Danger, Tough enemies, Shuffle the bag. These swing a whole fight.

Helpful gifts worth mapping, and who should get them
Helpful gifts are what keep viewers from feeling like they only exist to torture someone. They also reward the people who like Jill. Put a few of them on cheap gifts so a newcomer can do something kind with their first coin.
Heal and Reload the gun in hand fit the cheap tier because they are small and obviously useful. Handgun bullets is a good low-cost gift too, since ammo is the thing Jill always runs short of.
Save the dramatic ones for big gifts. Invincible gives her a stretch of safety, Infinite ammo keeps the gun in hand from running dry, and One-hit enemies turns every enemy in the room into a single-hit kill. A rocket launcher or a shotgun dropped into her bag is a genuine event. Put these on gifts big enough that chat sees them land and reacts.
Troll gifts, from gentle to mean
Order your trolls by how much they hurt, and price them to match. Hurt her is the mild one. Poison and Bleeding are slow pressure: Jill has to find a cure or heal through it. Full heal cures poison, so a viewer on the other side of chat can undo a troll with the right gift.
Empty the gun and Gun jams are the ones players hate most when a fight is already underway, so put them mid-tier rather than on your cheapest gift. Steal ammo and Steal a heal hurt more the less Jill has, which is a good reason to keep them off the cheapest gift early in the run.
Tough enemies toughens everything in the room, and Shuffle the bag scrambles Jill's inventory. Both are strong enough for the top tier. Drop to Danger puts her at the lowest health the game allows, so treat it as a big gift and expect a lot of reaction.
Combos that make good moments
Chat figures out combos on its own once it sees the list, so you do not need to design them all. A few are worth planting in your pinned message or your stream title.
Because trolls and helps sit on different gifts, viewers can fight each other in real time. That rivalry is most of the fun, and it works best when the helpful side is not much more expensive than the troll side.
- Poison, then Full heal: one viewer starts the clock and another stops it with the right gift.
- Drop to Danger followed by First Aid Spray: the player is at 1 health for a few tense seconds before the rescue.
- Empty the gun, then Reload the gun in hand: the quickest rescue and the most common back and forth.
- Steal ammo plus Tough enemies: a hard pairing that demands running instead of shooting.
- Shotgun or Rocket launcher into the bag, then One-hit enemies: a payoff moment for a big donor.
Follows, likes, shares and joins
Follows, likes, shares and viewers joining the live can be mapped to any action too. This is how you give non-spenders a real part in the stream, and it is useful for anyone who cannot or will not buy a gift.
Joins are a good fit for something tiny, like Heal or Handgun bullets, so every arrival gives Jill a little help. Follows suit a slightly stronger helpful action. Shares work well on a mild troll, since a share brings new viewers in and the player gets a small surprise to match.
Keep trolls off likes. Likes arrive in large numbers, and a stream of them can bury the run under pressure that the player cannot answer.
Setting it up on TikPlays
TikPlays is a subscription tool that turns a TikTok LIVE into a game the viewers play, with Resident Evil 3 as one of its interactives. You map gifts on the dashboard, and the action fires in the game in real time. There is no port forwarding.
The setup is three steps. After that, it works alongside TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS. TikPlays is not affiliated with TikTok or any game studio.
Once you are running, overlays such as goal bars and top-gifter lists are links you paste in as a browser source. Browse the other games if you want to rotate formats.
- Run the TikPlays Resident Evil 3 bridge and paste in your dashboard API key.
- Start Resident Evil 3 and load a save or start a new game. The bridge finds the game by itself.
- Map gifts (and joins) to actions, then pick Resident Evil 3 when you Connect on the dashboard.
