Handstand Hank on TikTok LIVE: gift ideas and what viewers can trigger
Map cheap gifts to small helps and small annoyances, mid gifts to real swings, and your biggest gifts to the moments people talk about. Handstand Hank has 15 actions, 8 that help and 7 that troll, so you can build a gift ladder that keeps chat spending and keeps the climb alive.
What viewers can actually do to Hank
Handstand Hank is a game about a man climbing a city on his hands. With the TikPlays mod, your viewers stop being spectators and start deciding whether he makes it. Gifts fire actions in real time, so a Rose can be the difference between a clean jump and a fall.
The mod is a UE4SS mod for the Steam build. Every action runs through the game's own movement, checkpoints and physics props, so what chat triggers looks like part of the game and not a glitch.
The full action list
There are 15 actions in two camps. Eight help Hank climb, and seven troll him. The list below is pulled live from the game, so it always matches what your mod supports.
Read it once before you map anything. The names tell you most of what you need, but the pacing advice further down explains which ones deserve a big gift.
Start with a three-tier gift ladder
The simplest layout is three tiers. Cheap gifts get small, frequent effects. Mid-tier gifts get effects that visibly change the next 30 seconds. Your top gifts get the spectacle.
This works because viewers who send a cheap gift want to see something happen right away. Viewers who send a big gift want the whole stream to notice.
- Cheap tier: Speed boost, Slow motion, Throw an object at him, Ragdoll
- Mid tier: Freeze the obstacles, Checkpoint up, Checkpoint down, Tiny Hank, Giant Hank, Throw a BIG object at him
- Top tier: Launch him, A minute of invincibility, Zero gravity, Reset countdown
Treat this as a starting point. If chat sends mostly one gift, move the effect you want to see most onto it. Watch your first stream and adjust.
Helpful vs harmful: keep the balance honest
If chat can only troll, viewers learn Hank never wins and stop caring. If chat can only help, nothing is at risk. Aim for roughly even, with the troll side slightly cheaper so there's always something to throw at him.
The reset countdown is the best balancing tool in the game. It gives Hank sixty seconds before he goes back to the very start, and Save him from the reset cancels it. Map the countdown to a big gift and the save to a mid gift. That creates a natural fight between two groups of viewers, and both sides keep sending.
Pacing cheap gifts against big ones
Cheap gifts arrive in bursts, so give them effects that stack without breaking the game. A speed boost or a thrown flowerpot is fine ten times in a minute. A full checkpoint drag is not.
Save the effects that rewrite the run for gifts that arrive rarely. Launch him straight up the map, or a minute where nothing can reset him, should feel like an event. If a big effect fires every few seconds, it stops feeling big and starts feeling like noise.
- Put repeatable effects on the smallest gifts
- Put anything that skips or erases progress on mid and top gifts
- Announce big-gift effects out loud so chat sees the reason the run changed
Combos that make chat go wild
The best moments come when two actions interact. Because viewers see each other's gifts, they start building combos on purpose.
- Slow motion plus Freeze the obstacles: a chat-made safe window for a hard jump, then someone trolls straight through it
- Tiny Hank plus a thrown object: a coin-sized Hank is hard to hit, so viewers race to see whether the boulder lands
- Giant Hank plus Checkpoint down: a Hank too big for the geometry, dragged back the way he came
- Reset countdown, then everyone scrambles: the save gift arrives with seconds left, or it does not
- Zero gravity plus Launch him: a big early skip that ends up somewhere risky
Point out combos as they happen. Viewers repeat what gets a reaction.
Setting it up with TikPlays
TikPlays turns your TikTok LIVE into a game your viewers play. Each gift you map on the dashboard triggers an action in the game in real time, and Handstand Hank is one of the 32 interactives in a single subscription. It works alongside TikTok LIVE Studio or OBS, and there is no port forwarding.
Setup is short. The bridge finds the game and installs everything itself.
- Run the TikPlays Handstand Hank bridge and paste in your dashboard API key.
- Start Handstand Hank.
- Map gifts to actions, then pick Handstand Hank when you Connect on the dashboard.
Once you're live, overlays like goal bars and top-gifter lists are links you paste in as browser sources, and the desktop app can read gifts and chat aloud.

Tips for the first stream
Do a test run with your own account before going live so you know how each action looks. Then start with fewer mapped gifts than you think you need. It is easier to add an action than to explain a confusing menu.
Tell chat what each gift does in your title or pinned message, and check what your region and account allow for LIVE and gifts in TikTok's own settings. To estimate what different gift tiers are worth to you, try the free calculator.
